What are BubbleBunnys?
BubbleBunnys began in the summer of 2006, after two siblings lost their pet rabbit to a California heatwave.
Heartbroken, they asked a simple question: what if we could make a bunny that lasted forever? That question became a new standard for what a plush companion could be — stretchy, tactile, sensory-focused, and built to survive real life. Not a toy you set on a shelf, but one you twist, toss, hug too hard, and take with you everywhere. Twenty years later, BubbleBunnys are still built the same way: to bounce back, no matter what.
But somewhere along the way, "built to last" became about more than durability.
Our founder's own story is tied to a deeper kind of protection. As a student leader at Lehigh University, she lived through a devastating campus tragedy — and out of that loss came a lifelong bond with Connie Clery, whose decades of work transforming campus safety touched millions of students nationwide. Mrs. Clery became BubbleBunnys' first believer, and today, her legacy lives on through AngelCakes™ — a character built not just to comfort, but to give back.
