Meet BlueBerry
“Always ready to help, BlueBerry leads with kindness, courage, and a steady heart.”
Where It All Began
Long before the rest of the family came along, there was BlueBerry — the original BubbleBunny, born in 2006 in the Bay Area. He was squished, tugged, run over, and loved by kids everywhere, with fans as far away as Greece (and further still). A true globe-trotter from the very start.
BlueBerry even caught the eye of MTV, Nickelodeon, and LucasArts along the way. He sold out fast — and for twenty years, fans kept asking for the same thing: more colors. Now, in 2026, that wish is finally coming true, with three new colors joining BlueBerry in the Classic Line.
Fun BlueBerry Facts
Blueberries are one of the few fruits truly native to North America — early namers called them “star berries” for the five-pointed star shape on each one.
Their deep blue color comes from antioxidant pigments called anthocyanins — nature's way of saying built tough, built to last.
Blueberries were once dried and packed for long journeys — fitting, since BlueBerry the character has always been a traveler too.
Blueberry plants are deeply rooted and hardy through harsh winters — very on-brand for a character whose whole trait is resilience.
Once a regional North American fruit, blueberries are now grown and loved worldwide, across the U.S., Canada, Chile, Peru, and Poland — just like BlueBerry's own fanbase.
