About Us

BubbleBunnys began back in 2006 when Melese Michael and Nastassia Strobl, a sibling duo armed with big ideas and even bigger imaginations, created our first plush, a small dream powered by a lot of heart. We were young, inspired, and fueled by the incredible support of our family, friends, and community. Shops and wineries displayed our early Bubbles, people signed their bellies, and stories came pouring in from those who found comfort in their charm (pre social media boom). They encouraged us more than they knew. Those early days shaped the spirit of BubbleBunnys: a brand built on connection and kindness.

Life moved fast, and we pressed pause as I went on to serve and explore new chapters, but the characters never stopped tugging at our imagination. Years later, with only one original BubbleBunny still safely with our mother, it felt like the right time to bring them back. Renewed, reimagined, and ready for a new chapter. Our mission remains the same: create soft, comforting characters that help people feel a little more connected in a world that can feel far too busy.

As we relaunch, we’re excited to introduce improved versions of our original BubbleBunnys plushies, welcome new characters like AngelCakes, and expand into 3D printed collectibles and future designs already in motion. Every design still comes directly from our hands and hearts, and every product is crafted with the same intention we started with: comfort, connection, and a little touch of magic.
